Case Study: Kitchen, Bathroom.. Now The Loft

During the past ten years, Grand Interior Designshave completed three projects at the Totley house featured here, which was built in the 19th century.

In 2007 the company’s designers and fitters created and installed a kitchen, then a bathroom in 2012. Recently, they were invited back by the property’s owners, and asked to revamp a loft used as a spare bedroom and study. Grand Interior Designs first did a considerable amount of work to ensure everything was in order for units to be fitted. Floorboards were restored, walls replastered, new lighting fitted,and a radiator installed.

“As usual, Grand Interior Designs worked their magic by making the best use of available space. Our photo shows the entrance to the room, where a study area has been created, with a bookcase. On the other side of the room a row of cupboards has been fitted into the eaves, utilising an area previously unused. Space around the chimney breast now has cabinets. A wonderful bedroom has been created, with much more storage space than before. The design was clever, and our installers were perfectionists. As previously, their workmanship was of a very high standard.”

We undertook every aspect of the project, from design through to completion, including all electrical wiring and plastering and finished off by decorating the room.
